My “feminist legacy” will most likely consist of the following, this being the internet age and all:
1. Having pissed off Amanda Palmer one time
2. Pictures of Winston, and/or the fact that I refuse to shut up about having fibromyalgia and, like, being in pain and stuff…
Wevs, bitchez. I am the queen of poverty blogging. How’s that for a legacy? I am the mouth of the 20 percent, baby. I once got all the shitty forced birther’s at Jill Staneck’s site praying for my baby-killing soul. I used that to run a contest to pay my rent. Who cares more about the children? Good Christians or Godless Whores. (BTW it was Godless Whores for the win, by something like 40 to 1). I was a racist for not voting for Obama and sexist for not voting for Palin, never mind that I voted for the Black and Brown ladies of the Green party. I got more reader votes in the stupid “best political blogging” contest than anyone else- and still got shut out of the finals.
My legacy will be foul-mouthed and whiskey-stained and fearless and fuck you. That’s my legacy.
(I think we should all be doing a What’s my legacy post. It’s good to remind ourselves how awesome we are. )
